Camel Rent, Patmos Island
These terms apply to all vehicle rentals arranged through Camel Rent on Patmos Island. By confirming a reservation, the renter agrees to the following conditions.
Your reservation is valid only after receiving a confirmation email from us and after the required payment or deposit has been received.

The driver must be at least 19 years old, and the driving license must have been issued at least one year before the pick-up date.
EU driving licenses are accepted. Non-EU citizens may be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) — failure to provide one may result in refusal of the rental.
The minimum rental duration is a few hours depending on availability and season, but the minimum charge is always one full day.
If you wish to extend your rental, please notify us at least 2 days in advance. Extensions are subject to availability and must be updated in the rental agreement.
A deposit or guarantee is required for all rentals prior to vehicle collection.
No refunds are provided. Exceptions may be considered at the company’s discretion.
If you do not collect the vehicle within 2 hours of the agreed pick-up time and have not notified us in writing, the reservation may be cancelled.
The vehicle must be returned at the exact time stated in the rental agreement. Late returns without prior approval will be charged at the daily seasonal rate.
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
Available upon request, subject to availability. Please provide the child’s age and weight when booking. The first seat is free of charge. Additional seats are charged at €3 per day, per seat.
One additional driver may be added at no extra charge. All rentals include unlimited kilometres.
Third Party (T.P.) insurance is included in all rentals. It covers material damage, bodily injury or death to third parties. It does not cover damage to the rented vehicle or personal injury to the driver.
Additional insurance options are available on request at an extra daily cost. Regardless of insurance, the renter remains fully responsible for interior and undercarriage damage, mirror damage, loss or damage of keys, tyres, rims, hubcaps, accessories, and any loss due to negligence.
In the event of an accident, Camel Rent must be notified immediately. Any damage not covered by insurance is the renter’s responsibility.
Driving on unpaved roads is strictly prohibited. Vehicles may not leave the island of Patmos under any circumstances. Violations will result in a €100 penalty, all recovery costs, and charges for every rental day until the vehicle is returned.
The renter is responsible for all fines and traffic violations. If licence plates are confiscated, the renter will be charged for each day the vehicle cannot be used at the applicable daily rate.
Reservations are made by vehicle category, not specific model. If your selected model is unavailable, we will provide a comparable or higher-category vehicle at no extra charge.
